CHEMISTRY – H.O.S
“ Make everything as simple as possible but not simpler” As Albert Einstein puts it; the teachers of Chemistry in our school have a duty to demystify the subject to the students without compromising the set standards.
The great team in the subject include Ms. Jackline, Mr.Ngige, Ms. Asikoye, Mr.Waihenya Mr.Mwaniki ,Ms Angela, Mr. Macharia. Recently we were privileged to be joined by our Principal Mr.Kuria who other than teaching in one of the form four classes has shown high level of commitment to work and has given us tremendous support that has catalysed our performance a degree higher. It is the teamwork displayed by all these members that has enabled us achieve our goals in service delivery to our students.
The best mean score for the subject in the last ten years is 10.03 achieved in 2015. The year 2017 class had a mean of 6.04 and every effort is now geared towards taking the subject back to where it belongs, we believe we can break the 2015 record this year. We have done it before and can do it again, Yes we can!
The subject organizes form four weekly contests known as “self check” We have seen this contest help our students improve in their performance as they get used to doing exams way before they sit for their final exam. For one to excel in Chemistry, practical work is key. We are alive to this fact, hence common weekly practicals and short practical sessions during the lunch hour break are offered. We also organize internal symposiums for each class and expose the students to external contests in the country.
Chemistry is all around us! The better we know the subject, the better we know our world. Being a science of choice to all our students, I say “The Sky is our limit

COMPUTER STUDIES – H.O.S
It is my utmost pleasure to contribute to this website I wish to congratulate the development Team for its determined efforts to see the success of this project. I appreciate the outstanding progress of the school over the last few years and wish for further accomplishments on its onward journey of excellence in education.
Computer studies is taught by three teachers namely; Md. Catherine Maina, Md. Carol and Mr. Timothy Ombwori.
This year’s issue comes at a time when Computer Science as a subject has registered significant progress. This year, the school is presenting the first candidate class of computer studies for K.C.S.E. The candidates have done well in various internal evaluations and external contests.
The short term goal of the subject is to enhance curriculum diversification especially on the Technical Subjects. In line with this, this year we allowed two full streams (110 students) to take computer studies. This is the highest number so far recorded. However, I am privy to the constrained ICT facilities especially the computer Laboratory which needs an urgent upgrade to meet the ever-growing demand for learning and research.
