MORAL GROWTH INTERTWINED WITH ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Christian Religious Education Is one of the humanities taught in secondary schools. In our school, it has been a relevant because it has helped our students acquire basic principles of Christian living, develop a sense of self-respect and respect for others and also acquire values that help them cope with everyday life challenges. As a result of learning g CRE we have been able to develop morally upright men which has enhanced their co-existence with each other in school leading to a conducive learning environment.
Indeed this subject ensures that learners have a real-life experience and prepares them for the outside world.
This has further led to a continuous and marked improvement of CRE performance in KCSE over the years as follows:
Year | Mean grade score | grade |
2018 | 6.028 | C |
2019 | 8.922 | B |
2020 | 10.485 | B+ |
2021 | 10.5385 | B+ |
This performance has been attributed by the cooperation, unity and teamwork of MR. KARANI, MR. GATHUMBI, MD. MWIHAKI, MD. MWORIA, MD. PATRICIA MR. KAGIRI, MR. PAUL, MR. MWENDWA AND MD. ANN (HOS) who make the department membership. Let me take this opportunity to appreciate them for their selfless efforts towards the great achievement.
Our 2022 subject is 11.5. WE BELIVE IT!
We are still soaring higher and higher.
